So this picture says it all…it was taken just after 7.30am today…yes 7.30am!! Up at 5am again to run our route which we found out yesterday wasn’t 5km it was 6.5km (tracked it last night when before was just winging it!) came back to have breakfast of pineapple, watermelon and plantain (my daily breakfast, Pony is eating the pinto and corn tortillas too) then we put the tent up in the room to practice that. Then the egg stopped working! See…I do rest!!!
Legs felt like they stopped working today so we went super slow on the run, sun got to me yesterday a bit too. All in the process of acclimatisation! Off for a walk soon for a few hours before the next run. Lots of rest in between like this too! Having a rest this early in the day is a new one for me though!
